People with unusual appearances in Guinness World Records

From just looking at their faces, they may look like typical people. But in reality, each one of these individuals has a unique appearance. There is a good reason why these individuals are in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Soltan Kosen

Tallest man

Sultan Kosen is the Turkish farmer who currently is the tallest living man.  His height is 8 ft. 3 in (251 cm). Soltan was born on December 10, 1982. When he was asked about the advantages of being tall, he replied saying that it is convenient to help the family to hang curtains and install light bulbs. He described some of the disadvantages of his height as being the difficulty of finding a right size clothing.

His growth hormones were stopped in 2012 through radiosurgery in University of Virginia Medical School.

Soltan Kosen was unable to finish his school because of his height. Instead, he worked as a part-time farmer. Currently, he is living with his family. He has three siblings who are in typical heights.

Soltan married to Merve Dibo in October, 2013.

Jyoti Amge

 

According to the Guinness World Records, Indian actress, Jyoti Amge,  is the smallest living woman in the World. She was born on December 21, 1993. Her height is 2 ft. 06 in (62.8 cm). She is so small due to the growth abnormality called Achondroplasia
She appeared in several Indian and International talk shows and movies. You may recognize her from American Horror stories: Freak Show as Ma Petite.  Her famous quote is “Don’t treat me like a baby”

Devendra Suthar

Davendra Suthar has more toes and finger than an average person due to the abnormal growth called polydactylism. He has 14 fingers and 14 toes. His record was verified by doctors in India. He works as a carpenter and he says that his extra fingers do not affect his work performance. But, still, there are extra fingers to worry about, while cutting. His toes give him some difficulty to find the right size shoes, so he has to wear custom-made shoes.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi

Chandra Bahadur Dangi is the world’s shortest man ever recorded in history. His size is 1 ft 9 ½ in (54.6 cm). He weighs only 32lbs (15kg). Chandra was born on November 30, 1939, in Salyan district of Nepal. He never got out of his small remote village prior to being recognized as World’s shortest men by the Guinness World Records. Medical condition that limited his growth is unknown. He was 73 years old when he was recognized by Guinness World Records. After getting his title, his main wish was to travel around the world and see every part of Nepal. He enjoyed only three years of his fame until he died on September 3, 2015.

Orlando Rodriguez Hernandez

Have you ever wondered who wears the largest size shoes? The simple answer is the person who got the biggest feet. If you think your shoe size is large, think about shoes size 26.

According to the Guinness World Records, Orlando Rodriguez Hernandez has the largest feet. His right foot measures 1 ft. 3.79 in (40.1 cm), while his left foot measures 1 ft. 3.59 in (39.6 cm). Orlando Rodriguez Hernandez is from Venezuela. As all of us would guess, Orlando has a problem to find the right size shoes. Since none of the shops sell shoes that fit his size,  he orders custom-made shoes from Germany.
